Today’s theme is buildings. Cloudy weather is the best time for these types of photos since we get nice, diffused light. The images above were captured close to Mooney’s Bay and Carleton University.
The first and last photo were captured with a Sony Cybershot, middle two with the Kodak.

Today’s photo theme is liminal peacefulness. The photos are arranged in the sequence they were taken, first one starts at summer 2024, last one is from winter 2025.
In the coldest months around dusk is the best time for liminal photos, nobody is walking around in the parks, gives a real ghost town feeling.
Everything above was captured with the Kodak.

    Political Convention of the 1970s

From the candidates’ names visible in some of the photos (Wagner; Joe Clark; Mulroney), I’m certain that these photos are from the 1976 Progressive Conservative leadership election.

Tom Green brought Monica Lewinsky to Ottawa for an MTV special in the year 2000.

While in town they were interviewed on a television morning show called Daytime on Rogers Community 22.

The host of the program was a local kid trying to break into TV named Jon Dore.

Rogers Community 22 was the same community station where Tom Green first got his start.
